Romans 16

CHAPTER 16

Greeting to the Assembly

1But I commend to you Phoebe our sister, being a servant of the assembly, of the one in Cenchrea; 2that you should favorably receive her in the Lord, worthily of the holy ones, and you should stand beside her in what ever [3of you 2she should need 1thing]; for also she [2a patroness 3of many 1was], and of me myself. 3Greet Priscilla and Aquila my fellow-workers in Christ Jesus! 4(who [4for 5my life 2their own 3neck 1placed], to whom not I only give thanks, but also all the assemblies of the nations;) 5and the [2at 3their house 1assembly]. Greet Epaenetus my beloved, who is a first-fruit of Achaia for Christ! 6Greet Mary, who [2much 1tired] for us! 7Greet Andronicus and Junias my relatives, and my fellow-captives! the ones who are notable among the apostles, the ones who also [2before 3me 1were] in Christ. 8Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord! 9Greet Urbanus our fellow-worker in Christ, and Stachys my beloved! 10Greet Apelles the one approved in Christ! Greet the ones of the household of Aristobulus! 11Greet Herodion my relative! Greet the ones of the ones of Narcissus! of the ones being in the Lord. 12Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa! the ones tiring by labor in the Lord. Greet Persis the beloved! who by much labor tired in the Lord. 13Greet Rufus the chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine! 14Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the [2with 3them 1brethren]! 15Greet Philologus and Julias, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and [2the 4with 5them 1all 3holy ones]! 16Greet one another with [2kiss 1a holy]! [4greet 5you 1The 2assemblies 3of Christ].

Paul's Appeal to the Brethren

17And I appeal to you, brethren, to watch the ones [2the 2discords 3and 4the 5obstacles 6by 7the 8teaching 9which 10you 11learned 1making], and turn aside from them. 18For the ones such [2to 3our Lord 4Jesus 5Christ 1serve not], but their own belly; and by flattery and blessing they cheat the hearts of the guileless. 19For the obedience of yours [2unto 3all 1reached]. I rejoice then over you. But I want you [2wise 3indeed 1to be] unto the good, but unmixed unto evil. 20But the God of peace will destroy Satan under your feet quickly. The favor of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Greetings from the Assembly

21[3greets 4you 1Timothy 2my fellow-worker], and Luke and Jason and Sosipater my relatives. 22[3greet 4you 1I 2Tertius], the one writing the letter, in the Lord. 23[2greets 3you 1Gaius], my host, and of the [2assembly 1entire]. [6greets 7you 1Erastus 2the 3manager 4of the 5city], and Quartus the brother. 24The favor of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. 25And to the one able to support you according to my good news, and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to an uncovering of the mystery in times eternal having been quiet, 26but made apparent now, and through [2scriptures 1the prophetic], according to the command of the eternal God, for obedience of belief [2unto 3all 4the 5nations 1having been made known], 27the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory into the eons. Amen.
